Ruby Rose, also known as The Flash, is a superhero who was struck by lightning from an experiment gone wrong at S.T.A.R. Labs causing her to evolve from human to metahuman. When she was young, she dreamt about becoming a Huntress due to her mother's and uncle's heroism. Her uncle trained her how to use a scythe as she is fascinated with Harbinger, her uncle's weapon of choice. She is also quite knowledgeable in weapon mechanics, which resulted in the creation of Crescent Rose, as she is fascinated with various weapons and their different mechanisms. She then unlocked her Aura and Semblance called "Petal Burst", which gave her the ability to move at inhuman speeds that are nearly too fast for the eye to catch, making it appear as if she can teleport. In one fateful day, she was struck by lightning that was caused by S.T.A.R. Labs during a family trip in Atlas. After nine months in coma, she woke up in S.T.A.R. Labs with super speed which was way faster than her Semblance.
Ruby was greeted by Dr. Silas Stone who worked for the one who is responsible for the experiment gone wrong, Dr. Harrison Wells, who went missing nine months ago. She learned about the existence of new species called 'Metahumans', humans who are affected by the Particle Accelerator Explosion like her. She was then secretly trained by Dr. Stone behind her family's back in order to improve her new speed causing her to neglect her Semblance. She also needed to eat a lot of food that has protein due to her metabolism. Meanwhile, she has a close friendship with Victor Stone who occasionally visits the lab to remind his father about the incoming football game. After her training was finished, she was gifted with a costume that protects him from the immense friction encountered when he runs, as well as being overall resistant to extreme temperatures. She later became known as "The Flash" in Central City when she stopped her first ever villain who was revealed to be a metahuman. From then on, she became the city's Petal Speedster while her family is unbeknownst about her heroic antics.
ABILITIES: Unbeknownst to Flash, her powers are drawn from the Speed Force - a mysterious cosmic force that pushes time and space itself forward. She is capable of moving at incredible superhuman speeds. While running, he can only be perceived as a blur. She is so fast in fact time seems to slow down around him, making him appear to be invisible to others within their relative time frame. She is also far faster than Superman in terms of speed. Her stamina and reflexes are enhanced to a superhuman level as her body can handle the stress of moving at superhuman speeds for long periods of time without getting tired or weak and she is able to dodge literal lightning. She also uses her speed to amplify his natural strength. Unbeknownst to her, her body is surrounded by a "friction cushion", a field of kinetic absorbent energy that protects her and anyone who is running with or carried by her from the Speed Force Aura. She can heal faster than ordinary humans as her arm was healed in mere minutes after it was crushed by Girder.
EQUIPMENT: The Flash doesn't particularly carry any equipment except for the ring that stores her superhero costume, courtesy of Lucius Fox.
WEAKNESS: The Flash has vulnerability to extreme temperatures. If she is shot, hit, or falls for a trap that includes extreme temperatures of hot or cold. It can affect her durability and nullify her Speed Force abilities. She is also vulnerable to EMP as she'll become unable to vibrate out to escape when trapped in a containment cell that involves an electromagnetic pulse. She'll also move slowly when being halted by a user of Still Force such as the Turtle.
