INFO
Neptune Vasilias, also known as Aquaman, is a reluctant Atlantean superhero who hails from the hidden underwater kingdom of Atlantis. He pretended to have a fear of water in order to prevent anyone from discovering his species. He is the youngest brother of King of Atlantis, Jupiter, who shares a close relationship with. His older brother wanted him to rule the kingdom as he couldn't handle the pressure of the crown and wanted to become a Huntsman, but he refused because the people wouldn't want a half-breed to rule the kingdom. He decided to live on the surface world where he'll live the rest of his life as a human who has a fear of water. He befriended Sun Wukong who would later become the leader of Team SSSN in Shade Academy.
During his time as a student, Neptune wasn't particularly interested in becoming a hero like in the comic books, but it all changed when there was a live report about a cruise ship invaded by pirates. He sneaked out of the academy to save the people, unknowingly becoming a hero he was reluctant to do so. When he revealed himself towards the pirates, they initially mocked him for acting like a hero. He proceeded to obliterate them with none of their weapons seemingly having an effect on him, even when his Aura was broken. When he left as he didn't want anyone to see his face, the sailors and passengers called him "Aquaman" due to witnessing the fact he was swimming away from the cruise ship at an incredible speed. The next morning, he couldn't believe that he made the news and the fact that people gave him a superhero codename like in the comic books embarrassed him. It seemed like he was going to become a superhero one way or another.
ABILITIES: As Aquaman is a hybrid between a human and an atlantean, he can spend longer periods of time on dry land and is much stronger than a regular atlantean. He is invulnerable against bullets, melee weapons, and can thrive in the darkest deepest bowels of the ocean without suffering any discomfort. His senses are several times more acute than human capacity. When he is underwater, he is the fastest swimmer in the world. His strength enabled him to lift insurmountable amounts of weight, for instance towing around fishing boats while tidal waves were crashing down upon them. He is able to recover from wounds far quicker than any human. His greatest asset is that he has the ability to communicate and command marine life, which only he has the ability to possess amongst the atlanteans. Due to his half-human physiology, he has a Semblance called 'Water Attraction' which allows him to control water via hydrokinesis if he comes into physical contact with a surface. He prevents using his Semblance in order to keep pretending that he has aquaphobia.
EQUIPMENT: Aquaman used Tri-Hard as a weapon. The weapon has at least four forms: a compact mode, a gun mode, a guandao mode, and a trident mode. The gun, guandao, and trident modes all three have the capability of harnessing electricity. He also possessed the trident that once belonged to his deceased mother. His weapon is extremely durable and capable of causing serious injury to even powerful beings. In addition, the trident is also able to help him control his Semblance, though he rarely uses this weapon due to its origins.
WEAKNESS: Aquaman dehydrates at a rate greater than an average human. He had to come into contact with water at least once per hour or he would die. It isn't a problem for him, considering he often drinks water.
