Inuyasha-The Chaos Ensues
It was a beautiful summer day in fuedal Japan, the cherry blossoms floated in the air, resting on Inuyasha's hair and shoulders as he sat on a boulder near the well, where Kagome appears in this time period, honing the blade of his sword on a rock. His ears are pricked, listening for the slightest noise.
There was a rushing sound and a pop as the time barrier was breached as if by magic. Kagome jumped out of the well and landed on her feet gracefully, with a mischeviously smile the walks over to Inuyasha. "Ready? I sense another shard of the crystal nearby?"
"Hai, let's go." Inuyasha jumps off of the boulder, looking bored and a little disgruntled that she would come during a time that he would count as his quiet time where he'd delve deep into his thoughts.
"This way, Inuyasha" She leads him into the woods, not stopping and knowing where she's going without checking on the direction. Inuyasha thought this weird, but didn't feel like saying anything.
Finally she stopped in a clearing, red roses everywhere, a babbling brook just before the woods began again and a large boulder. She moved to the boulder and sat upon it, sitting with her legs crossed and a little mischevious grin on her pretty little face.
She pats the rock gently meaning for Inuyasha to sit beside her. Inuyasha blinked and obeyed. "all right....but where's the crystal shard?"
"In due time Inuyasha in due time..." Kagome suddenly said in a very seductive tone. "There's always been something I wanted to tell you...."
Inuyasha's eyes went wide and a spark of hope sprung in his heart ~Will she tell me she loves me?~ Inuyasha thought hopefully ~Will my dreams finally be true?~.
"Inuyasha...I want to forget our past fights and look at what we are to one another" She spoke softly staring into Inuyasha's eyes. "Inuyasha....I have something to tell you."
Suddenly all of the defenses Inuyasha had put around his emotions and heart broke instantaneously, and he knew that she was going to tell him that she loved him. That he was the world to her. She was his world...he'd wait and wait for her to come back to his time...it was torture...the waiting...but now it'd all be ok....
Kagome leaned closer to Inuyasha, slowly....painfully slow.... "Inuyasha...."
"Yes?" Inuyasha said, moving closer to her himself and resting a hand on her cheek. Finally...she'll kiss me...and all of my dreams...all of them...they'll be true...
Kagome looked into his eyes... "Sit boy!!!"
