Birthday Wishes
Harry Potter sat in his bedroom at number four privet drive. He was looking through a photo album which he received after his first year from his friend Hagrid, who was a half giant..
Today was now finally Harry's sixteenth birthday and he had received a number of gifts from his friends.
From his godfather, Sirius Black he received a strange golden pocket watch. From Ginny Weasley he got a singing birthday card:, he had to glue it together to stop the singing. From, Ron Weasley, he received a load of Every Flavor Beans, several Sugar Quills and some Butterbeer.
And from Hermoine he received the book Hogwarts, a History.
'Typical of Hermoine.' Thought Harry.
A few minutes later Pig ( also known as Pigwiidgeon) came flying through Harry's window.
" What have you got there Pig?" Harry asked as Pig sat atop of Hedwig's cage.
Harry untied the note. It was from Ron.
Dear Harry,
My mum has asked me to write to you to see if you would like to come spend the summer here at the burrow again.
Ask your muggles. If they say yes we will come and get you by floo powder on Saturday at 6:00. If they say no meet us in Diagon Alley on Saturday at 6:00.. Send Pig back with a reply.

Harry got out a quill and some ink and began to write his reply.
Ron,
Just come anyway on Saturday and I'll be sure to tell my Uncle you're coming by floo powder.

Harry was just about to tie the parchment to Pig's leg when Hedwig flew through the window.
He tied the parchment to Pig's leg and he flew away back towards the Burrow.
After that he opened the letter which happened to be from Hogwarts School.
Harry examined the first piece of parchment which happened to be his list of school supplies for the upcoming year.
On the second piece however had some interesting news.
Mr. Harry Potter,
You have been made a school prefect for the Gryffindor house for this year.

in a way he felt some what happy for himself. But yet he felt like he shouldn't have been chosen for such a job, since he had broken so many rules since his very first year at Hogwarts.

The following Saturday the Weasley's came right on time.
They left at the sight of a horrified look on Uncle Veron's face.

They got to the burrow and Ron and Harry brought their things up to his bedroom.
Ron's bedroom was full of Quidditch posters and things. near Ron's bed was a cot for Harry to sleep on. Harry put his trunk at the end of his bed and flopped down.
Ginny came up stairs and knocked on his bedroom door.
" What??" Ron said.
" Mum said to get ready if you're coming with us to go get school supplies."
" We have to wait for Hermoine" Ron shouted through the closed door " go ahead without us."
"Okay." Ginny said, and ran down the stairs
"Hermoine's coming too?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, she sent an owl saying she would arrive later today."

An hour later.
"Ron I'll be back in a minute I'm just going to grab my Firebolt."
Harry hurried up the many flights of stairs to Ron's room where on Harry's cot there lie his broomstick. "the Firebolt"
he grabbed his broomstick and hurried back down the stairs taking them two at a time when he heard some noises down in the kitchen.
He looked down the stairs where he found Ron and Hermoine……..Kissing
