Wandering-Ranger: I'm glad you like Snape. I don't like the always evil portrayal of the Potions Master in most fanfics... he's just incredibly misunderstood!
Kazuya-sama: WOHOI!!! This must be the most constructive review I have ever recieved! I'm glad you liked it. It took me 20 minutes to write on a sugar-high and listening to the song over and over and over again.
Always-A-Kiwi: Bwahaha! No she isn't a parody of you. I happen to have many Alexis Baldwin/Balduin/whatevers. And she's not supposed to sound like a ghoul. Oh, and believe me, I know what happens when people are dying. Yeah, I know what you think of original characters, but I like them because I can't do what I want with the characters already in there. So don't bite.
That's it for now. Thanks for reviewing and sorry this chapter is short!
She was running. She had a distinct feeling of déjà vu as she raced through the bushes, chased by nothing but her imagination. During her hunt she had suddenly felt a surge of fear and took off towards her house, ears flat back on her head and tail half between her legs. Slamming against the door once, she waited for her friend to open the door. As soon as the door was open, she dashed inside and hurled herself at the door from the inside, shutting it firmly and leaning against it, every muscle in her body quivering.
"What's wrong, Alexis?" Moire asked, stroking Alexis' head to calm her.
"I... don't know," Alexis growled, voice deep and gravelly in her animagus form. "I just... felt afraid. Very, very afraid."
"It's okay. You're off to Hogwarts tomorrow, so you'll be fine there if there is anything threatening," Moire comforted. That seemed to calm Alexis down.
Ever since her massive accident over fourteen years ago, Alexis and Moire had been working in the Muggle world and in the Magical world. In the Muggle world, Alexis and Moire were waitresses at a highly successful restaurant while in the Magical world they were assistants at the Department of Magical Creatures, dealing with the guarding of the magical creatures around Hull.
"Yeah... I'll get some sleep now..." Alexis mumbled as she trudged off to her room.
Yeah, I know, short... but hey. She's aliiiiiiive!! BWAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
