A broken heart
chapter 1
Bakura walked briskly down the road with roses and chocolate in his hands. He was headed for the Moto residence. 'I hope he's there. Why did I have to fall for you!?!? Why!?!?' Bakura thought as he entered a shop, purchasing a crystal heart. 'Hope he liked this stuff......hope he likes me.....hope he isn't already with someone.' Bakura thought while getting mad at not having the one he wanted.
He stepped into the store and went to the empty counter. He rang the little service bell and Grandpa scurried out of the house to what he thought was a customer. "Hi, is Yugi there?" he asked politely. Grandpa took awhile before he recognized that this wasn't Ryou. He scurried back into the house and hollered for his grandson. Yugi came joyfully bounding down the stairs but stopped short when he saw Bakura. "Hi Bakura, what do you want?" he asked while eyeing the candy and roses suspiciously. "I wanted to talk to you, can we talk outside?" he asked. "Sure." Once they were outside they sat on a nearby bench and it took awhile before Bakura had the guts to ask Yugi. "Hi.....um....I wanted to know.....um.....couldyougooutwithmebecauseIhaveacrushonyou?" he asked hurriedly. It took Yugi to put the words in order and when he found out what Bakura had said his face was as red as an apple. "Bakura.....um.....I'm already going with my yami." Yugi said sheepishly. Bakura couldn't believe his ears!! His Yugi was with Yami!!! He felt heartbroken. As if on cue, the crystal heart broke into 2 pieces. One piece falling and shattering on the ground while the other was set firmly in Bakura's hand. "please, don't tell anyone" he said while getting up and walking away. Yugi looked at him until his body was nothing but a mere dot in the distance. Sadly he stood and walked back into the shop. Bakura didn't know how to describe how he was feeling, maybe, overly depressed. Bakura was ready enough to kill someone. He always hated Yami but now he hated him 10 times worse. "Ooooohhh!!! I hate him!!!!' Bakura thought. Bakura sat on a bench and thought of plots of revenge. He looked up to see Yami walking towards him in his normal attire. 'I hate him for taking my Yugi!!!' Bakura thought as he walked up to the pharaoh. "Hello pharaoh, how are you today?" he asked casually yet politely. Yami eyed him suspiciously before answering with a simple "fine." 'Hmmm.....the tomb robber is being to....nice.' he thought to himself. Bakura smirked. "I was wondering if you would like to join me and my hikari to eat at his house tonight?" he asked. He tried to pull off the 'i'm being nice so you better bring your dumbass over here' look. Yami thought for a couple seconds then deftly nodded. " What are we doing?" "Oh, just dinner. Ryou can only invite 1 person over and he told me pick cause he doesn't care." he said. 'Ha!! Ryou is going over to Malik's house tonight!! I'm suck a genius!!' he thought proudly. "okay." He said going on his way. "At 8 tonight!!" Bakura yelled to Yami's retreating figure. 'Now to get all the preparations done.' He thought evilly. He then headed home.
