'It's destroyed. completely destroyed.' Inuyasha's gaze quickly turned from right to left then slowly back around again. All he saw was dead trees, and burnt grass across for miles on. He felt a hand of comfort place softly on his shoulder. He turned around quickly to find Miroku staring along with him. "Miroku, everything's-"
"Gone. I know." Miroku finished his sentence calmly and continue to look upon the horizon. "The demon vanquished everyone and everything then left without a trace, Inuyasha."
A small sniff came from behind them and they both turned around casually. Shippo was rubbing his eyes constantly. "W-where's Kagome and Sango?"
Inuyasha put his arms in his sleeves and turned his back to him. "She went back to her own time to take another one of her exams. she's safe. And Sango went along with her for company" He concluded with a heavy sigh and turned to Miroku, "What should we do now?"
"Inuyasha, I'm as clueless as you are." Miroku stated simply and sighed along with him.
Aware of the situation an idea finally popped into Inuyasha's head. A small mischievous grin took over. "I think I know exactly where to go." Inuyasha stated. He turned to the well, which remained unharmed. He walked over to it casually as Miroku and Shippo followed.
"What are you thinking, Inuyasha.?" Shippo asked curiously.
"We stay at Kagome's time."
