Leto took a few steps into the conference room where his aunt, the new empress, sat waiting. He straightened his jacket and walked confidently toward her.
"And where is your sister?" his aunt, Alia, asked sternly.
"On her way." Leto answered. The doors behind him flung open and Ghanima walked in. Alia gave the twins a harsh look.
"Please forgive them." Lady Jessica pleaded. "They woke up late this morning."
Alia shrugged off Jessica's comment. "Packages arrived for you form the House of Corrino." She told them.
"Thank-you." Leto responded.
"Get them and get out!" Alia screamed. Leto and Ghanima grabbed the packages and exited the room.
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Ghanima exclaimed. Leto laughed. They took their gifts into Ghani's room and sat at the window seal. Lady Jessica interrupted their opening.
"I'm sorry your aunt should learn her place. I mean, the two of you are coming of age and well, then you Leto, will be Emperor." She informed.
"We are use to it." Ghani sighed.
"So, anyway, what did you receive?" Lady Jessica quickly changed the subject.
"A necklace and a dragon figurine." Ghanima answered.
"And you Leto?" Jessica continued.
"A necklace and a book." He exclaimed sadly.
"Matching necklaces, eh? The house of Corrino didn't send you this." She said.
"What do you mean, grandmother?" Ghani asked.
"I sent it to you. These necklaces are unique. They allow you to contact mentally with you twin." Jessica replied. "Thanks," Leto gave his grandmother a hug. Following him was his sister.
