An Elf

As I lie on the ground, with so many people all around. all I see are arrows fly, man and elves together dyeing.
I never thought it would come to this, the last thing I will hear is an orcs hiss. in replace of my lady's care, in my cheats to arrows.
every time a draw a painful breath, closer comes a darkness named death. I close my eyes a look for peace, then time the pain will cease.
instead of the sweet honey from my love's lips, blood trickles down my tongue and slowly drips. darkness comes to my eyes, as I sing of last good byes.
As my lady a waits me in Rivendell, She dose not know her love has fell. Do not tell thy lady yet Let her stand by the windows let.
As she knew her love was gone, the sun light from her withdrawn. Down to the room they be wed, are the last words she said.
"O my love they say forever gone, I come to you in the next day's dawn. With this silver to my heart, We will never again have to part."
