We walk down the alley behind crash; we haven't said anything to each other for an
hour now.
"Max?" I hear Krit's voice behind me.
"What?"
"I thought I'd better tell you that I'm married now!"
I turn so quickly that I have to remove the hair from my face. I just stand there staring
at him astonished not knowing what to say. Finally I find the words.
"What? Who to?"
"Well…."
"Don't tell me it's another X5 cos if it is I'm gonna kill ya!"
"It is, it's…….Syl."
"What?! When?! Why?!"
I can't believe it he actually married her!
"Say something!" I ask.
"What do you want me to say, that we're gettin' a divorce! But it's not gonna
happen!"
I could tell he was getting pissed at me. Suddenly we both turn our heads; we can both
sense someone else near us.
"Can you feel that?" he asks.
"Yeah and their close."
Then I see someone jump on Krit and bring him down to the ground. Who was it? I
run to Krit and I kick the person in the side, they roll off Krit. I get down on top of
them and take off the balaclava. Who is it, none other than Alec the stupid idiot.
"Hi Max! Everything ok this fine Saturday night?" He says in one of those smug
voices.
"Eergh!" I say as I stand up. "Oh my god! Krit!"
I run over to him to see if he's ok. I get down on my knees by his side and turn his
body over.
"You ok?" I ask.
"Fine, just fine!" he pushes himself up off the ground. "Who's the idiot who tried to
knock me unconscious?"
By this time Alec is up and is standing above me.
As I get up he says "That would be me."
