It had been thundering and lightening outside all day long. For some
strange reason the weather was affecting the behaviour of some of the
Senior Staff. In fact, the only ones that were acting normal were Donna and
Leo.
Josh was in his office reading a memo that Toby had given him when the lights went out. Reaching into his desk he pulled out a flashlight and made his way out of the office.
"Donna, want to make shadow puppets?" Josh asked as he went up to her.
"No Josh. I'm trying to find a flashlight." Donna replied as she pulled one out. Josh decided that Donna was no fun so he went to find someone else. ============================================
Leo decided to use the time to go see CJ about how she was handling the questions about Hoynes's resignation. As he walked into her office he found CJ and Toby both howling at the moon. Deciding that he didn't even want to know what that was all about, Leo left. ============================================
"Sam, want to play tag?" Josh asked as he ran into Sam's office.
"Sure." Sam said as Josh took off and Sam ran after him.
The President and Charlie were walking down the hall as Josh and Sam ran by. Deciding that they wanted to join first, Jed and Charlie ran after them.
CJ and Toby heard all the commotion and decided that they too wanted to join in the game and they ran after the other four. ============================================
After about a half hour of tag, the six of them decided to go back to CJ's office and howl at the moon. Leo passed by and decided to join them since he couldn't make them stop. Donna decided to join them as well.
After an hour of that the lights came back on. Before they all went back to work they made a pact never to speak about this to anyone. No one else ever knew what went on that night in the West Wing.
Authors note: I know. It sucks. I had to write something for my English exam last year and this was it. Just in case you're wondering, I didn't get a very good mark on it.
