Nuriko's Notes: This story is about Aura, who you
have heard about in my other stories, and her husband.
Hope you enjoy it.

Aura and Drios

Somewhere unknown to mankind is an island where
a magnificent castle stands tall, towering over the land.
The castle is made of crystal that shines like diamonds
with orchards and gardens on the east and south side, the
courtyard on the west.

In front of the castle, there is a small courtyard
with cherry blossoms scattered everywhere. There was a road
that lead to and from the castle and it was bordered with
cherry blossoms. These trees bloomed no matter what the season.

Now, let's go to the courtyard. In the distance, there
is a young woman sitting in the middle of a patch of wild roses.
Around her were animals that were either asleep or cuddling up next
to her. She was about five feet tall with long, raven black hair that
reached to her mid-back and she looked to be about nineteen years.

She has the ability to change into animals, preferably cats
being her favorite. She was reading when a young man walked up from
behind her. "Welcome back, Drios." she announced, smiling she went to
him and they kissed. Together, they went arm and arm to the castle.
After dinner, they went to the lounge.

Aura brought tea and cookies for them. Pouring the tea, she
gave the cup to Drios, set it down on the table next to him. He grabbed her
around the waist and pulled her close to him. "You are the loveliest
creature alive."

The next morning, Aura woke up and saw that Drios was already
gone. She spent the rest of the day in the garden. When he returned home,
he found Aura in the living room reading a book. "Hello my dear." he said
smiling. He bent to kiss her, but she moved out of his reach.

"You did it again." she said, looking at him. "If you mean hurting
the humans, yes I did." She got up and moved to the opposite side of the
room. "I asked to you to stop. You know that I don't like that, but you do
it anyway." She went to her room. Later on that night, Drios went upstairs
and found Aura packing the last of her things away.

"What do you think you are doing?" he asked. She turned to him.
"Leaving you." with that said she walked out with her bags and went to the
council. "I would like permission to live on the planet Earth." After a few
minutes of discussion, they agreed. The conditions were that she live, never
dying, and that she would have to take care of a human while down there. She
agreed, little did she know that she would have other humans, like the one
she was going to take care of, who would be the same. Or did she?
