A/N: This fic's a little A/U. In it Jimena has chosen to become a guardian-thingy instead of staying on Earth, Catty is the youngest of the daughters in this, and also, Catty and Tianna never decided what they wanted to do, and the rest it says in the story.
Over and Done
La Brea Highschool had always been boring to Catty, but now it was simply a place of sadness and memories. First Jimena had gone, and the rest of the goddesses had mourned her departure. It had been a sad time, knowing that one of them had left the Earth forever, but it was also something else, a different feeling, not happiness, but not saddness, that they had all felt and none of them could name it.
It had all changed when Tianna left. None of the other daughters had known when her birthday was, but it came, and she too had chosen to leave. They had all had a suspicion that Tianna was going to leave, maybe because she thought it was her duty to protect others from what she had gone through, or it may have been something else but they had felt it and it happened.
Then Serena's birthday came. It was different for her than for all of them. Serena had a thrid choice and she had never told them about it, but it was there. And she chose it. Now she was a dark goddess, not evil, just dark. They didn't know why but they hadn't seen her since she hd left with Stanton that night.
Then it was just Catty and Vanessa again. like in the beginning, before they knew their destiny. But it wasn't like it was before. They were...uneasy with eachother sometimes, like they weren't sure what to say, when before they had just spoken their minds.
Then that final fateful day had finally come. Vanessa's seventeenth birthday and the choice that would change her life. She too choose to leave, leaving Catty in a world where everything good she ever knew dissapeared.
