Trapped

I knew there was no turning back

This was all because of me

I'll be forever trapped

I knew we could never be

Still in her eyes were tears

I tried to whisper

Tried to erase all her fears

I tried to whisper those three words

I was a half-breed, an outcast

She was a hero, a warrior

It all happened so fast

Did I hurt her?

I can't stand to look in her eyes

The pain in my heart was overwhelming

I couldn't ignore everyone's cries

My mind kept muttering I couldn't do such a thing

Still the past can't be undone

I still love her

There's no where to run

I'll be with her forever
