A/N: Boredom and depression over the fact that I still haven't seen the
Season Finale made up this incredibly short fic. HAH. Told Kerr about that
fact that I wrote this fic but she doesn't seem too interested so blah. I'm
not going to tell her that I posted this. Hee. Sweet Revenge.

She screamed; her mouth twisted into a gesture of agony. Her delicate features were momentarily furrowed as she winced in pain. He panicked, and reached out to hold her, afraid that he would miss out. He couldn't really feel the pain, but he sensed it there, thick in the air. She leaned back and grabbed his hand, squeezing it as another psalm of pain hit her.
"John!" She twisted around, trying to make herself comfortable but failing miserably. A dull ache started deep in her back, spreading by the minute. The pain will be coming; she knew it in her heart. "I can't do this anymore!" Her forehead was drenched in sweat, and pieces of damp hair clung onto her cheeks. She snapped her eyes shut and breathed heavily. "I can't!"
He tightened his hug around her, and kissed her lightly on her head. He smelled into her hair, the sweet aroma embracing him, before pulling back to look at her. He stared into her coffee brown eyes, trying not to melt, not to dissolve completely under her pleading gaze. "Come on Abby, you can do this." He urged, nodding along to emphasize his point, rubbing her back in quick circular motions.
She shook her head stubbornly, and mouthed a silent 'No'. Her stubbornness would have bugged anybody, but he found himself falling for it. Coming from her, everything seems perfect. The world was just different around her.
"Yes, you can." He stared into her eyes. Come on, Abby, be strong.
She snapped her eyes shut, breathing heavily. "I'm never going to let you touch me again. Ever." She cried out through her clenched teeth. If it wasn't for him, she'll give up.
"If you say so." Just a hint of playfulness was intact in his tone of voice. She glared at him, but he only smiled. Her scowl was adorable.
"I'm serious." She said, gasping in pain. "You owe me big bucks for doing this."
Again, he just smiled. But that was enough. A warm sensation spread from her back to her toes, and her pain soothed somewhat, before hitting her even harder a minute later.
"Carter!"
She couldn't believe she was doing this. She had thought she'll never do this. But he had convinced her to, and now she's regretting what she had promised. She should have never listened to him, but that was impossible, she just fall right into his spell. He is magical.
Red, black, red, black. Pain hit her in stripes of color, blood rushed to her head. She thought she screamed, but her ears were blocked. She couldn't see, she couldn't hear, yet she felt his presence, she felt his eyes on her. She's glad that he was here. There is no way she's going to survive if he's not. Her lips parted and she screamed something. Then the black faded into red and the red cleared to reveal a bright room. The hard part was over.
She sighed and flopped down onto the mat, pulling him down with her. He laughed and fell on top of her, his lips barely an inch above hers. He leaned down to kiss her, but she turned away.
He pulled back, confused.
She grinned and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him deftly on the nose.
"I'm never letting you take me to yoga sessions anymore. It hurts like hell."
