A/N: This is a song fic based on R. Kelly's song, A Soldiers heart. Hermione's POV tells about the last battle with L.V. Basically Her and Draco (although it implies others) Are fighting against L.V. and Lucius.

I remember the last battle like it was yesterday. Draco, Draco MALFOY, lead the fight for the good. Yu should have seen him up there he was so brave. Fighting against his father and Lord Voldemort. Even when they looked like they were ahead, he helped me and kept going. They closed up most of my senses with a very special curse. I was so scared but Draco comforted me and helped me go on. He helped me believe. It was so hard but he helped me.

All hope was gone

Hard to hang on

Hard to be strong

Was blind, could not see

Nothing but walls in front of me and inside no peace

And the mountains seemed impossible to climb until...

He was upfront, no fear inside of him. He led the battle. He backed away from the dark path and led us without so much as a whisper of doubt or betrayal. He would have died for us, and that is why I love him so much, because he is SO brave.

Oh the many waters we had to travel. We could not apparate; they put a spell on the manor. The road was long, but I always had faith in him, and when I couldn't go on he helped me up and kept me going.
