Disclaimer: I own nothing! Not even Jesse! *sob* The idea is mine,
though.
Muse Responsible: Well, as 3 are preoccupied at the moment and the other is watching their various predicaments, a random plot bunny bit me and helped me. As much as a bunny can help. Which means sitting around munching carrots. So in other words, no help. Since this isn't fluff, Sirius Fluff isn't around.
I had a weird dream that I was Suze and Adam, CeeCee, and I were on a team where I would drive a small speedboat, CeeCee would steady it, and Adam would do acrobatics on the bow of the boat while it was zooming around this big lake...it was weird. Kelly Prescott was on the other team with some other "preppies." There was a competition. My team got second place because Adam fell off at the end. But Kelly's team came in last. It was really strange. The boat was white. Then we went for lunch and I had pasta Alfredo. Back to the ficcie.
This is a weird little thing from Paul's POV. After Haunted.
----------------------------
I watched Suze seat herself next to her friends. Her eyes flashed over me and narrowed with hatred. It burned my heart, and I wept inside.
I had first seen her at the summer resort, babysitting my little brother. She had lectured me for not helping him. He was just my brother, and what help had I had?
Suze laughed at something Adam said, and my heart twisted with jealousy. If only she would laugh for me.
Ever since the incident in Shadowland, she had despised me, insisting that he had left Jesse and herself to die.
Jesse. I snarled inwardly. He was a ghost-what could he give her?
But I would give anything to be Jesse for one day, the way she looked at him, the way she so obviously loved him.
Jesse also hated me. Whenever I ran across him, he swore at me in Spanish and tried to hit me. Ever since the fight at the party, the air crackled with tension between us.
I hated Jesse. I had followed Suze as she walked into the graveyard, intending to speak to her-but then she came to Jesse.
I watched from the shadows as Jesse embraced Suze and kissed her-something which I so wanted to do.
I wept in the shadows as Jesse embraced her, love clear in Suze's eyes.
I yearned for her to use that expression on me.
But from the way she looked at Jesse, she was his.
Jesse's.
Unattainable.
I wept for it.
Unattainable.
----------------------------
K, that was...strange. Oh well. Review? Please? (I think it's a good little thing, but PAUL CAN NEVER HAVE SUZE! Cause Suze has Jesse...even though I want Jesse. Suze has all the luck.)
Come on, press the pretty purple button!
