I wrote this during a few rehearsals when my local drama club was putting on "Les Miserables". This is what happens when I'm bored. Keep in mind that it is exaggerated and the cast doesn't really hate Les Mis this much. Hope you like it.
Disclaimer: I do not own Les Miserables. (I'd go get my script and tell you who does own it but it's early in the morning and I'm tired and lazy.)
One Week More
Valjean:
One week more
Another week, another week or so
This never-ending practice. Can't you see?
If I don't leave this school real soon I might just blow up to the moon
One week more
Marius:
This play was great until this week
Now the whole casts spazing out
Marius and Cosette:
Did I say I hate show week?
It makes the cast all want to shout
Eponine:
One more week till it's all done
Marius and Cosette:
Will we ever sleep again?
Eponine:
One more week of splitting headaches
Marius and Cosette:
I am so sick of this play
Eponine:
I had thought it would be fun
Marius and Cosette:
And I swear it won't be missed
Eponine:
But the fun has disappeared
Enjolras:
One more week before the show
Marius:
Should I stay until show night?
Enjolras:
At the auditorium
Marius:
Should I stay with my friends here?
Enjolras:
And I hope our patience grows
Marius:
Do I stay or do I quit?
Enjolras:
Will you come and see us act?
Chorus:
The time has come, the week is here!
Valjean:
One week more!
Javert:
One more hour till we go home
Then we all can go to bed
We won't be ready for the show night
But at least we'll rest our heads
Thenardiers:
Come and watch our show
Tickets are real cheap
As soon as it is done we all can get our sleep
Here a little snooze
There a little nap
We'll all fall asleep as the full house claps

Raise the curtain off the stage
