Fiction inspired by 'Castle in a Cloud' from Les Miserables. I do not own Les Mis or LoTR. If you see this as being done well, tell me and I will continue. If not it is a short fiction. Certain parts of the song parody go to certain parts of the story, but I only have part three written. Please tell me if I should continue! Thank you!

There is a lady all in white

Holds me and sings a lullaby

She's nice to see and she's soft to touch

She says 'Celebrian, I love you very much…'

Celebrian winced in her sleep. In the darkness of her room she was dreaming of a group of ugly creatures, snarling and grinning evilly at her. One took out a knife, and as it flashed in the light she cried out.

Galadriel glided into her daughter's room, and gently shook her awake. There were tears streaming down Celebrian's young cheeks.

'Celebrian, my darling… it was merely a dream…' Galadriel cooed to her ten year old daughter, holding her close. Celebrian's breath came in deep sobs, and once she started to breathe normally, she buried her face into Galadriel's white dress.

'Mother, there were so many creatures around me… one took out a knife, and I screamed, and- and-' she started sobbing again, and Galadriel tightened her hold on her daughter.

'It is all right, do not think of it… your father and I will not let any harm come to you.' She said in Sindarin, and Celebrian sniffed. Her mother's skin was so soft, untouched by labor or pain.

'You're so pretty, mother…' Celebrian said, and Galadriel smiled kindly, her daughter sitting on her knees now.

'So you will be, too. You have a face more of your father, you know.' She said, and Celebrian smiled.

'But I have eyes like yours!' she said, giggling. It was true; they had the same blue colored eyes.

'Now you must rest those eyes, though. You are still very tired.' Galadriel said softly, and Celebrian nuzzled back into her mother.

'Sing to me a song, mother, please,' she said, and Galadriel smiled, chin resting on her daughter's head.

'Would you like a certain one?' Galadriel asked as Celebrian yawned.

'The one of Gil-galad, mother…' she said sleepily and Galadriel started it quietly in her perfect voice. When she was done she saw Celebrian had fallen asleep in her arms. Carefully she set her daughter down, and whispered softly 'Celebrian, I love you very much…'
