Die Another Day
What would I do when hope is lost?
When pain lingers like a winters frost
Despair and darkness go hand in hand
Aside from hope when it forsakes the land

Death follows battle like night follows day

When all hopes are lost in the midst of the fray
Emotions run deep, like anger and pain
Grief takes hold and tears fall like rain
Loved ones are lost, but the battle is won
Red blood is spilled, so many are gone
Days are cold, and hearts are hard
Wounds are dealt and souls are marred
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Walk the road, and travel we must
Darkness calls, the light will fade
As we walk the path that fate has made

Where do I go when the grieving calls
When despair deepens in the sleeping halls
The coldness comes with fear and hate
The night speaks of help that came to late

The trumpet blows, the start of the day

The wind moans for those who did not stay

The first light gleams from the rising sun
Releasing us from what fate has done
By an observer
