This was not the place William Morgan was suppose to end up. Billy came from the good side of town. He had two loving parents that provided him with everything in the world. He lead and lived a privileged life. Noway did Billy belong here, but Specs, Specs on the other hand did.

The blonde with wire rimmed glasses looked at the highly polished boy curiously. He didn't look like the type of business he usually got. He was use to scantly dressed women and drunken, burly men. High society folks weren't the types that came to him too often. "Can I help you make a decision?"

Specs glanced at the blonde, "I-- I dunno. I've never, ya know, done this before, um..."

"Dutchy."

"Specs."

"So it's your first, huh, Specs?" Dutchy grinned knowingly. "Well, I'll be honest with you, it's gonna hurt."

Specs' face turned pale, "How bad?"

"Not too bad. It's gonna burn little too, and you're gonna bleed some too."

Specs began to feel faint, he hated the sight of blood. "Bl-- bleed?"

"You might even feel dizzy or like puking."

"Puking," he nearly cried.

Dutchy nodded, "But we'll go slow, I promise, and it'll be well worth it. Just tell me what you want and I promise you won't be disappointed."

"Okay, um... I want something that represents heartache. Maybe a black heart broken in two pieces, put it right here on my wrist. It's where I always end up wearing my heart."

The young tattoo artist smirked a little, "First love?"

"And first heart break."

"How long?"

"Ten months together, three months apart."

"But you're getting over it, right?"

"Yeah," he replied sadly.

"What was her name?"

"Jack."

"As in 'Lyn?"

"No, as in Jack. Jack Kelly."

"Oh, that Jack," Dutchy said a bit bitterly. "How about we do something that means strong, instead? Strong for getting over a guy like Cowboy."

"You sound like you know him," Specs remarked.

Dutchy shrugged, "I guess you could say I thought I did."

"What kinda tattoo did you have in mind?"

"Like this one," he pointed to a tattoo flash on the wall. "It's a Chinese symbol that means power."

Specs nodded, "Okay. Where would it look good?"

"On you? Anywhere."

The nervous brunette's cheeks tinted pink.

"But it's not a matter where it would look good," Dutchy continued. "It's where it belongs. And it belongs right here," he placed his hand on Specs' chest. "Over a broken heart."

"I'm really scared."

"Don't be, I'm gentle," he smiled and led the other young man over to his work area. "You've got to trust me, will you?"

Specs smiled a little," It's not a matter of it I will, it's the fact that I already do."
