Hi! Here's a Labyrinth fic and the whole idea of it is purely mine. I'd say that the story-line is unique. Hopefully it'll be a good, unique story-line.
The sentences ((*** written like this ***)) are from a third person's point of view. It's the narrator... which is me!
Disclaimer: The Labyrinth and all its characters don't belong to me.
Storyline- Fate and destiny can't be changed. That's what Jareth and Sarah find out when they are once again flung together in a world of danger and death. Mystery and intrigue. Romance and sex. Who will be the winner this time?

DANCE TO THE TUNE OF FATE
Chapter 1

The fallen brown leaves swirled around in the rising wind as the hint of rain teased the senses and hung in the air. Black, thunderous clouds rolled and rumbled in the sky. Occasionally, the thick, heavy curtain of the clouds parted to show the flashes of lightening, and but a moment later, the furious boom of thunder sounded. It was obvious that the violent storm was right overhead, but the woman who held a book in one hand and an umbrella in the other, was oblivious to it. As was the man who secretly watched her.
((*** But what no-one knew was that the King of the Goblins was in love with the girl. The girl that turned into a woman. A woman who had not understood her destiny and had seeked to escape from it.
So it had always been. And so it would always be.
For fate had decreed that to win the love which would sustain him throughout time, the King must be prepared to be humble, to forget his pride and to go through years of torment at being separated from the other half of his soul. The woman must be willing to leave her family, to face great hardship and to emerge triumphant through the harshest of challenges. She must accept her role in the King's life and must acknowledge who she was.
So it had always been. And so it would always be. ***))
The heavens opened up and a great torrent of rain cascaded onto the earth. The woman swung her startled gaze at the sky, and closing her book with a snap, took off towards home. Where the man had been, a flurry of cloak and feathers appeared, until a majestic white owl flew off into the sky, beating his wings in an effort to combat the fury of the storm.
((*** And so he must also expand great effort to secure his love. For their courtship would be like that. A tumultuous, stormy affair, where the King's and the woman's decisions would influence the path of their destiny. ***))
