Feedback: It would be greatly appreciated, but please don't flame me for misspellings and incorrect grammar, I'm from Denmark, so English isn't my first language… This was just something I felt like writing after seeing the final episode of Buffy. I've never written anything before this…
Spike was gone. Buffy just couldn't understand it. "Well I might as well read it now" she thought. In the middle of the night before they went to fight the first and his upervamps, Spike had woken her and given her a letter, and he'd made her promise only to read it if he didn't survive. She carefully folded out the letter and started reading:
Dear Buffy may 20th 2003 3.45am
If you are reading this, then I'm no longer among the living. I've would never let you read a poem by "William the Bloody Awful Poet" while I was living, don't need you laughing in my face. This poem is for you Buffy, I thought of it just 5 minutes ago while I was watching you sleep.
I want to be a tear
Born at your hazel eyes
Slowly roll down your beautiful cheek
And die at your lips…
I will always love you Buffy, no matter where I might end up, heaven or hell, I will always love you... I know you love me too Buffy, even though you never said it, I know you love me, I can see it in your eyes.
Yours William
Buffy's thoughts were running wild, after she'd finished reading Spike's letter.
"Oh my God! You did believe me when I said that I love you, you just didn't want to keep me at your side, you didn't want me to die too. Oh God how I miss you! I do really love you, and I always will…!"
