Blood and Cigars
Integra is pacing around her office. Her thoughts are roaming around...when she thinks of Alucard. This is what she begins to think:
Working all day
With no rest
That is what I do
Making others do my bidding
Trying to stop the evil
That is what I like to do
Looking at him brings a longing
A yearning for his heart
That is what I wish
But all I can do is smoke a cigar
And pray that he'll come
That is what I do
Vampire or not
His image is implanted in my head
That is what I see
If everything would just go the way that I want
Maybe I'd get to give him something
That is what I yearn for
Shuffle papers
Make a phone call
That is what I do
A kiss would be nice
But what do I know?
That is what I think
I'm just a human
Born to die
That is what I am
Watch him come
Watch him go
That is what I do
All alone
That is what I am
(A/N: Okay; now it is going to start to be a rhyming poem...)
Integra walks over to a bookshelf and removes a large, leather bound volume. She flips through some pages until she finds one blank and takes out a pen from her desk. She sits down at her chair and writes "Blood and Cigars" at the top. Then, she writes the following:
All alone and never together
Never by his side
He makes me hungry for his kiss
I want to be his eternal bride
I see him every night
He comes and he goes
I wish he'd stay and talk some more
But he leaves to fight his foes
I wish that he would come to me
And look into my eyes
If he did then maybe
I wouldn't have to wear this disguise
I think I love him
No, wait, I know I do
But what will come of that?
For if I love him, my humanity is through
I'll become a creature of the night
Searching for blood
I'd never see the sun rise
Or the flowers bud
But who cares?
Not me, I say!
If he is by my side
I can live without the day
Integra shuts the book and sighs. She looks out the window at the sinking sun and closes her eyes. It is almost time. In fact, the time is now. She opens her eyes and turns in her chair. Alucard has just entered the room by way of walking through the wall.
"Good evening, Miss. Integra," he says, tipping his hat.
"Alucard," she begins, "there is something that I must tell you."
She gets up and walks over to where he stands. She looks him directly in the eye and he knows. She loves him.
A/N: Hey, I was just surfing the web and I came up with this little thingy. It isn't really good; as I said, I was surfing the web. That normally means my mind is fried. Anyway, please review!
