'It's New Year's Eve and I'm the only one send out to practice monster hunting' thought Tommy.
Tommy was blacked-hair, Asian-looking, 15 year old. As the Captain of his squad in the Junior Hunters of Truce City, he was the strongest. The Junior Hunters were a group of hand selected children trained to become Hunters, plainly monster hunters. The Juniors had to attend classes in normal school and still trained everyday. "Took 4 years for me to earn status of Captain. And what do I get? A rookie squad", he said out loud. Maybe bit too loud. Well it was loud enough to disturb a piece of Rubble in the Leene Square ruins. Rubbles used to run away but now they actually fight back.
"Ha. You wanna take me on. Bring it." Tommy drew his Aeon blade since he wasn't allowed to use firearms like the elite Hunters did. First, as always, the Rubble sealed his use of items. It didn't matter though. Tommy already lunged at it and slashed it a few times. It countered by tackling him. 'Ow', Tommy thought. 'It's stronger than most Rubble but still gotta be pretty easy.' Tommy went for it again. The Rubble was stunned when Tommy kicked it in the eye. It lunged at him but Tommy quickly defended the attack with the blade. The Rubble turned into actual rubble. 'Phew.' Tommy looked up.
Tommy saw some weird machine. It looked advanced compared to the rest of the ruins. 'I must've wandered off into the Forbidden zone again', he thought. The Forbidden zone was the area of the ruins where Juniors were not allowed to go to. Only archaeologists and Hunters could go in to but Tommy always wandered in there. Never this far in though. While he was checking it out it activated. There was a weird necklace on top of the machine. Before he could reach it though, Tommy got sucked in a portal.
