Definition of Good
If you are good
you will go to heaven
Good compared to who?
To the murderers in jail?
To your next door neighbour?
To your family?
To your teachers?
Who drew up this standard of 'good'?
And why does 'good' change for each generation?
Do more people go to heaven now?
What is considered 'good'?
feeding the poor?
never cheating?
being nice to your fellow man?
Who decided what was 'good'?
What if 'good' isn't enough?
What if heaven demands excellence?
or perfection?
What if we cannot know what 'good' really is?
due to it's ever changing definition?
Are we all damned?
Are we then just all accepted?
No matter if we were 'good' or not?
