Frank and Joe Hardy woke up and went downstairs to eat a hearty breakfast. After they had finished, they phoned up their friend Chet. He decided to live up to his lifelong dream to fly a train. Later he realized that trains did not fly. It crushed his dreams but it wasn't going to stop Chet.

The Hardys set out with him to go to the train station. When they arrived they found it such a cavernous place, they could say "boo" and it would echo for miles. Joe and Frank actually made quite a fun game out of it. Then they thought that they should get down to business. They decided to contact the guy who says what time the trains are supposed to arrive.

They went up to the front desk, Chet happened to look up and he screamed. That one guy who knew what time the trains were supposed to arrive and slightly resembled a bat, jumped down at them. Sadly, he hit the desk beside them and was killed instantly. There was a long pause in which Chet was poking at the corpse of the guy who knew what time the trains were supposed to arrive and slightly resembled a bat. Luckily, they already knew what time the train was expected, as it would be rather absurd to go to a train station and not be prepared like that.

When the train finally arrived, the conductor stepped out and yelled, "All aboard!"

Joe was surprised to see that the conductor was wearing a rather scraggly kilt and waving a mauve canteen. "Pretend you don't see him," he said to Frank.

The conductor promptly stated, "My mother made this kilt." He crawled into the control room and sobbed quietly to himself for an hour or so.

Eventually, the train got a new conductor and they were ready to go!
