OVERVIEW of events. Thought this might be good to recap on things people might have forgotten now its on chapter 20. so here's a look at the timeline and how it lines up with chapters too. I don't know what years the books are meant to be set in, so I'm going on year 5 being 1999.

1999 -Year 5

Covered by Chapter 5 mainly, have flashback to this time, harry giving hermione her xmas present. The necklace she loses in year 6 and mysteriously finds in 2013.

2000 -Year 6

Chapter 6, with the flashback to the fight and how the necklace got lost.

2001 - Year 7

only referred to in chapter 12, by harry. How they (him and hermione) were the best of friends and nothing more. Exactly nothing more. And exactly best friends. to everyone but themselves.

2001 –  August

In chapter 17, the wedding of harry and may.

In chapter 18, the flashback to the news being broken to hermione and ron of harry's whirlwind romance with the girl he's only just met in france and intentds to marry soon. Ron doesn't trust her and hermione says nothing much for very good reasons.

2002 – june

Not in chapters specifically. Is the month of elianne may jane potters birth

2002 – Early july

chapter 12. the flashback to this time. The breaking of the news to hermione of the events. That harry, voldemort and may are all presumed dead. With elianne the only survivor and to be entrusted to her care due to circumstances. Ron weasley is arrested on suspicion of abetting voldemort's plan, and ginny weasley other possible guardian is still in school.

2002 – Late july

briefly mentioned in a chapter, hermione takes elianne into her care.

2002 – September

sort of mentioned in chapter 12, they declared harry and may and Voldemort dead. The day then made a day of celebration, pax omnia day. Ron was released because they had no proof and much to his dismay, the entire unsolved case was closed.

BIG JUMP IN YEARS

2013 – july

Covered by Chapter 1, we have elianne potter finding out the truth about her father and wizards, with her being one and invited to hogwarts shortly after her eleventh birthday.

Chapter 2 & 3 are about her finding out more history and the surprise letter from Sirius black that reveals harry may be back.

Chapter 4, also sees her first trip to diagon alley. Including gringotts.

2013 – august

chapter 5, hermione discovers her lost necklace, given to her by harry year 5

Chapter 6, explanation of the previous cliffhanger.

Chapters 7 & 8. ginny visits and more things come out of the woodwork. Ron's part is explained slightly. Along with another letter that Ron received also hermiones strange dream, that could be read into a lot.

Chapter 9. elianne begging to be allowed to do an extra class, mythology. The second trip to diagon alley. Elianne getting her wand. Also a flashback to hermione's wand getting when she was younger, though you never find out why its important. Yet.

2013 – September

chapter 10. elianne going to hogwarts, train journey, sorting, making friends. even with a sorting hat song included!

Chapter 11 – first potions lessons. Snape questions her, and she finds out more on her mother. Also the first mention of pax omnia day.

Chapter 12 – pax omnia day, hermione reflects on it and the past.

Chapter 13 – flying lessons at school, rumours on Cassandra and more on students in elianne's year.

Chapter 14 – Cassandra explains all to friends after the prank played on her, about her gift/curse. More on ron's part in harry and wife's death, on what happened to him and his own theory that someone else was responsible.

2013 – October

chapter 15, more on cassy's gift and her family history. The grange, the proposed family home of the potters is introduced along with the site of the events that ended the family. Also there's the fact hermione does not talk to her parents and why. Brings the past with it, her and harry's relationship. Ron meets hermione at the Grange and we find out what he's been up to. Elianne has her first mythology lesson.

There is also Trelawneys strange outburst and the warning from a friend.

Chapter 16. Halloween. Ofcourse that warning is ignored when the gang follow anastis after her and flora's catfight over her twin cousins, and anastis runs out.

The ensuing fuss ends in anastis being kidnapped. And there is the return of harry potter, the confrontation between him and hermione. An obscure hint towards the future being his last sentence and the cliffhanger.

2013 – November

chapter 17, hermione and harry getting on or not as it maybe, after his return and absence. The after math of the abduction and the worry about cassy's gift not being all it seems. The introduction of sinister people, who abducted anastis by accident it seems. People who are after something that they believe a seer will know of. And who now need another way to get what they want from them.

Lucretia being blamed around school for anastis's disappearance, is suspected because of being a malfoy.

Chapter 18. cassy's gift isn't playing up for once but elianne doesn't like that fact one bit. Lucretia blows up over the rumours she's been enduring. Flora and leander make up. Harry and hermione row, and finally the questions are answered. Harry was dead, he thinks. He has no memory. Sirius found him months ago but he was barely alive and only returned to health at Halloween following a special spell. Apologies all round. The cult finds the other way and they foresee exactly what they've been waiting for, the coming of the cwendendia.

Chapter 19. snape interferes with elianne's quest to find out about cassy. Snape explains about cassy's hidden family history, all of which is relevant to him as a relative and because he thinks its important to the threat he is investigating in the order of charadrius, (which ron is also in).

Harry catches up on the years and also voices a concern as to who betrayed him. He suspects as did ron, his deceased wife. Though this surprises hermione.

Elianne picks up on the fact cassy's loveletter isn't what it seems. Is from the same person as her Halloween warning and was cursed presumably to enable access to cassy's gift. The letter is now destroyed.

Things I made up for the story

Wizarks, wizard battle cards, direct owls, having different cores for wands, haulm of understanding herbs, flinders encyclopedia of harmful herbs, snapdragon charm, nightshade being in veritasium, elderberry magical protection spell, the michiya society in mythology and its gods/godess's, the correctix pen, beaver buns, pax omnia day (kinda vital to this specific plot), Yolo's tongue-buster lolly, duke of hogwarts, the grange as the potter family home, the order of charadrius out to protect the world from dark wizards after voldemort, trelch (mild insult), blackthorn (an insult you may be able to guess, A/N-make it up so no swearing was present), cwendendia (another little explained plot development), the orb (used by the gypsy to see what the seer sees), Crawfoot – Elvyweed – Jartionus (as far as I know all unexistent and made up by me as magical herbs), cowslip memory potion, the princerald family and the sedestrious charm.

Considering I made up the things in the above list and also about 75% of the characters is this fic, I would appreciate people ask if they want to use any of them in their own fic. Thanks.

Titbits that are included so far

Hermione's wand has caladrius feather in it, the caladrius is a mythical white bird that would sit on the end of a sick persons bed and depending on which way they look would tell if the person would survive. Therefore it is identified with healing often. Also has another name which you'd be good to look up.

Bluebells in hermione's dream. They are indeed a harebringer to a certain ominous event.

Cowslip and cherry are sited as beings for the uses as stated in chapter 18, and harry's tea and potion he drinks.

In chapter 7, snapdragon is indeed identified with charming effects. Elderberry is supposed to protect you from magic, hazel for diving, nightshade for truth and birch in chapter 8 is for wishing.

What's to come?

Snape's history. Might be surprising. Dating back to just before voldy's fall. Including several characters, one you know, one you don't.

Along with that mystery character who's coming back into the plot reasonably heavily.

The order of charadrius and their investigation. The latest developments in the new threat.

Finally there will be more on the cult and their fate and purpose. What do they want, what will they do?

Questions answered a little more on may potter.

I've also decided that Tuesday will be posting day. If anything after now gets posted up it will be on a Tuesday. I'm hoping I'll get to post a new chapter up every Tuesday, but I'm beginning another few fics so that may not be possible, but I'll endeavor to.

Incase your interested the new fics are going to be called Heir Of Hogwarts (a year five fic based on ideas that have circulated about harry's parents etc), Who Could Tell (not so far future, voldy's downfall and not by who everyone expected) and Everyone Has A Tale (view on the events of the coming years in the potterverse, looking back, everyone tells what happened to them, the part they played).
