Disclaimer: I don't own MX, I'm just playing with them for a while.
AN: Call this my post exam stress relief. It's short and sweet. The original draft of this was way longer, way more angstier and involved way more people, but I decided it needed to be more fun. It was inspired by Our Lady Peace and a poem by Pablo Neruda. So here it is…tell me if you like my boys…^_^

I've never seen your breath before
But I'm disgusted by the thought of waiting anymore
If I look up in your eyes
Will you notice me or notice it orFade into this accident

Jesse and Brennan had just finished an intense session in the dojo. Both of them were sweaty and sore from the workout, which probably wouldn't have been so extreme except for the fact they were trying to relieve some of the tension that had been growing between them. Both Jesse and Brennan had noticed that they seemed to be headed toward some kind of collision. There were things both of them needed to say but were afraid to. So they decided the best way to deal with it was to have some knock down-drag out training. It seemed to work, at least while they were working out, but as soon as they walked out of the dojo, the pressure settled back between them like a well worn coat.
Jesse looked at Brennan. The only way to solve this was just to say what needed to be said. End of story. Now how to say it…
Brennan was a man of action. He figured the only good way to solve this was to just do what needed to be done. End of story. He would worry about the consequences later…
As the two young men approached the stairs, Brennan turned to Jesse and pushed him behind the staircase. Jesse was taken totally by surprise. "Bren…" but his voice was cut off by a fiery kiss from that particular elemental. Jesse felt the hairs stand up on his arm. Brennan was electricity; he was alive with energy and now Jesse could feel that too. He could feel his heart racing and Oh God… Brennan hands were running up his back, and Brennan's mouth was making its way down Jesse's neck.
Somewhere Jesse found his voice. "Should we be doing this?…" he said breathlessly. Brennan answered by kissing him full on the mouth again. This time, however, Jesse didn't just stand there, he kissed back. Brennan wasn't the only one who had experience with his lips.
The two were so lost in the moment that they almost didn't hear Adam's voice over Jesse's comm ring. "Jesse" Adam's voice cut in again. "Adam?" Jesse's voice sounded like he was about fourteen. He began untangling himself from Brennan.
"Jesse, I need you to run some simulations with the new Sanctuary security"
"Sure Adam, but…"
"What is it?"
Jesse looked at Brennan. Brennan smiled suggestively. "Can it wait? I'm kind of busy"
"Sure, it's nothing seriously urgent"
"Thanks Adam."
The comm went silent.
Brennan reached out and hooked one of Jesse's beltloops with his finger. He pulled him closer. "Come on, let's go," he said.
"Where are we going?"
"Somewhere we can't be disturbed." With that, Brennan pulled off his comm ring and placed it on the edge of the stairs. He grabbed Jesse's hand and led him up the stairs.
