Way before Kikyo's *death now that's pleasant! ^_^ * Kikyo was her village's protector and huntress. Many great evils would come to her village for one thing: the Jewel of Four Souls, or Shikon Jewel. It was Kikyo's job to keep the jewel safe because if a half demon reached the jewel they would become whole, and not even Kikyo could stop them.
One day, Inu-Yasha was being chased by Kikyo. He was bound to a tree by his huge robe * Inu-yasha: You mean kimono *. Just as Kikyo was about to finish him, she stopped. She put her arrow away and left the clearing. * Inu-yasha: I'm still stuck here! Hellooo!!! Oh, man! *. Inu-yasha began to watch Kikyo with great interest. One day, while he was watching her eat, she called out to him and asked him to join her. Slowly, Inu-yasha crept out of the bushes and set himself a good distance from her. * Inu-yasha: If it was Kagome, it'd have been a mile. –Kagome: Oh, you're nice. *. Shut up already! Thank you. Now, back to the story.
Kikyo asked Inu-yasha if he thought she was average. Inu-yasha was surprised and tried to hide it, but somehow, Kikyo knew what he was thinking. * Inu-yasha: ^sobs for a while^ * Ok… Inu-yasha, would you like to continue the story?
Inu-yasha: We eventually developed a relationship. Wherever she was, I was and vice- versa. We fell in love with each other. Then she proposed the idea of me becoming human. I thought about it, and said yes. The day she was to bring me the jewel, she betrayed me. * I did nothing of the sort. * Who said that?! * Hello, Inu-yasha, dear friend. * Kikyo? But… * Inu-yasha, why did you kill me? * I did no such thing, Kikyo! * Then who did? Your brother? * Who? * Sesshomaru, the whole demon * I have a brother. Whoa. * He has shape-shifting powers. * He does? I get a piece of electric metal and he gets powers?! Damn it all! * Kagome: Uh, Kikyo? –Kikyo: Yes, Kagome? –Inu-yasha: One time I thought Kagome was you.* * Scary* * Inu-yasha: ^impatient^ Can I finish the story?* Kikyo/Kagome: Yes* Doing so, she bound me to a tree with a magic arrow forever to sleep; if KAGOME hadn't woken me up!
