'What a lovely little girl you have there! She looks just like you!' the passerby gushed at the cute little girl in pigtails smiling happily at her.

Just then the flaxen-haired little girl caught sight of someone familiar pushing a pram towards them.

'Auntwie Sawa!' cried the little girl, tugging at her mother's arm, trying to make her go faster.

'Hi Sharon! Happy to see me? Come give me a hug!' Sara said as she scoped the excited toddler into her arms.

Meanwhile, Catherine had bent over the pram to coo at the dark-haired little boy staring fixedly back at her with solemn eyes.

'Hey Adam. Remember me? Aunty Catherine?'

As she tickled him on the tummy, Catherine commented 'Wow, he really looks like Nick doesn't he? Especially when he smiles like that. Cute.'

'Yeah, just like Mike being a dead ringer for Grissom! Speaking of which, where is he?'

'Down at the swings with Gil. I guess there's where Kathy and Nick are right?'

'Got that right!. Let's go join them shall we?' Sara said as she tossed a chuckling Sharon into the air.

Sara took Sharon by the hand while Catherine pushed Adam's pram to where the others were.

'Daddy!' Sharon cried as she ran over to Grissom.

'Hey pumpkin.'

'Hi Aunty Catherine!'

'Whoa, is it just me, or are you growing mighty fast missy?' Catherine said as she gathered her namesake for a hug.

Kathy just giggled.

'Well, time sure flies quickly. I still remember the days when I was still a bachelor, with no worries at all! Ah, those were the good ol' days!' Nick said with a dramatic sigh for emphasis.

The next thing he knew, he was attacked by a blue blanket which slapped into his shoulder with amazing force.

'Watch it buster, are you saying that you regret marrying me?'

'At this precise moment? Yes!' Nick said while putting his hands over his head and running to hide behind Grissom.

Sara growled and ran to hit her husband. She caught him and was about to hit him when he grabbed her by the waist and proceeded to kiss her senseless.

'Just kidding darling. How could I regret the best thing that ever happened to me?' Nick said as they surfaced for air.

Meanwhile, Grissom had put his hands around his wife as she held little Adam in her arms.

'Do you regret marrying me Cath?'

'What do you think bugman? Do you regret marrying me and being a father so late in life?'

'Well, I guess that's no for all of us. You, me, Nick and Sara,' Grissom said as they looked over at the other couple who were still locked in a passionate embrace.

'Have I told you lately that I love you Mrs. Grissom?'

'I wouldn't mind hearing it again.' Catherine said as they looked over to where the three kids were playing in the sandbox, laughing gaily and enjoying themselves.

As they kissed their wives, the women that meant the world to each of them, Nick and Gil were both thinking of the same thing. Who would have thought that they would end up like this. Married to the love of their life and enjoying fatherhood and family life.

Such was the power of love.
