- CHAPTER ONE -
THE DREAMS
Harry Potter suddenly found himself standing in front of Godrics Hollow, which used to be the home of Harry's parents before Voldemort killed them. The sky was pitch black with no moon or stars in the sky, but there seemed
to be a mysterious glow coming from the ground, and the trees were an
unusual red. But all of a sudden, the sky turned yellowy-green and next
lots of fiery dots appeared in the distance. As they neared Harry they
started to come into focus, they were all Phoenixes only they were the strangest Phoenixes he had ever seen, they had a black glow emitting from them. Only as Harry stared at them he noticed that there was an enormous
Phoenix leading them with a rider.
Soon the enormous Phoenix had landed, and the rider jumped off. The rider
walked over to Harry and touched his lightning bolt scar with his bony fingers, and then that was followed by a pain Harry could only distinguish as the rider being Lord Voldemort, the most feared wizard in the wizarding world. Then the dark wizard spread his arms and said, "Harry Potter? Do you like my army?" and suddenly Harry was in his bed sweat dripping from his forehead, and a singeing pain in his scar. Harry sat up straight wondering
what that dream had been about, when all of a sudden, it came to him. Voldemort had gotten Phoenixes, Black Phoenixes? Harry had never seen Black Phoenixes before so Voldemort most have just gotten them. Then he started to forget the dream as he tried to remember. He looked at his alarm clock, it was 6 o'clock in the morning. He decided, since it was so early, to get
up and write to Sirus about the Black Phoenix. He got out of bed, got dressed and walked over to his writing desk, got a piece of parchment and a
quill and wrote:
Dear Sirus,
I just had a dream about some Phoenixes who were
BLACK!! and Voldemort was riding on the back of one and he
asked me if I liked his army. I don't know what that means,
I thought maybe you'd know or if you could find it out for me.
Harry
When Harry had finished writing the letter, he attached it to Hedwigs leg and let her fly out of the window. Harry stood at his window sill wondering what Voldemort was doing at the moment, probably planning something else to
destroy him which would probably fail for the fifth time.
