Hey guys! Guess what? I'm actually writing a S+S fic! That's a surprise
isn't it? Considering my history. Anyway, here's my new story Despair In
Our Souls. R+R!!! -Feona-chan.
Despair
In Our
Souls.
A ghost of a sardonic smile appeared on her face as she sauntered down the moonlit street. Her emerald green eyes gazed into the night sky, not looking ahead. She shook her head in disgust at herself, as a cold brisk breeze blew about her waist long hair. She gritted her teeth as the November cold breeze hit her strong, and she had to run home. The comforting shades of the moon weren't so comforting anymore. Her baggy jeans and tank top weren't gonna help anyway, so she entered her home frowning like always.
Her living room was always the same. Pink. The wall was always the same. Full of awards. With one name imprinted on all...Sakura Kinomoto. She smiled sadly as her honey coloured hair bounced off the dim light coming from in her small kitchen. Yes, she was living alone. Her parents were dead. No more. Gone. She tapped her desk lightly wondering what she could do. Normally she'd sulk all day, because she had no friends...or was becoming anorexic, or she was just trying to find one thing all day. And that was love.
All that Sakura wanted was love. One full of trust, companionship, butterflies in stomachs. Sakura leaned on her palm, staring into space. She glanced at the picture of her dead family. No more. Gone. She said in her mind. It was destiny she had finally decided after five years of screaming. Five years of Yelling. Five years of tears, five years of pain and frustration. Growing up in a world that's bound to be doomed, growing up in a dark world.
Sakura's childhood wasn't exactly childhood. This seventeen year old girl was the true legacy of a life anyone thought could not survive. No friends to rely on, no nothing. That crush she had in 5th grade on that one Syaoran Li was long gone now. That was the only thing she could hold on to, the only thing in her pathetic world she could smile and worry about.
Sakura shrugged giving up for the night deciding that the next day would be a new day...of horrible life. She quickly changed her clothes, jumping into her comfy bed. She was well off, considering her father was a renowned famous archaeologist among the world. She brushed her hair a couple time, getting out the tangles and then she settled in safe and sound, not knowing that an old classmate was thinking about her at that very moment.
What do you think? This is just the prologue, but yeah. Please review and tell me what you think, you can flame if you want. XD
