Ch.1
"Help me someone!!" Tari screamed to no one in particular.
She always hated being alone. She was always rather
independent though, but when her parents died she felt she
needed someone near her, to help her get through life. Once
again she was caught up in all the things that she needed
to do. Just then she had an ingenious idea. "I'll go to
Mirkwood!" she said happily (she always had quick ideas
coming into her head), "And there I will meet my
godfather." She put down all her cleaning supplies and went
to her room. Tari was an elf, and a very strange one at
that. No one would guess that she was Elrond's youngest
child/daughter, or the queen Arwen's sister. Elrond had
died a brave death in battle about a month ago and nothing
seemed to be going right in her life. Her eldest brother
was running Rivendell now and Tari never could dream of
that happening, but it did. He was doing a pretty good job
at it. Tari was always a bit well, sort of 'anti-social'
she never thought of herself as talented and beautiful like
her sister. No one save her family members even knew she
existed. All of Rivendell's elves (not to mention all
elves) thought Elrond had but 1 daughter. They were wrong.
Tari was turning 2,920 in a few days and was always looked
down upon by Elrond and her brothers and sister for being
the 'baby' of the family and they never knew how much it
bugged her. No one ever cared what she thought, it wasn't
important to them. The only people who really 'accepted'
her were her god-father (Gandalf) and much to her dismay
her brother-in-law ('King' Aragorn). She never thought it
herself, but Tari was very beautiful and she looked exactly
the same as her sister (save shorter and skinnier) she had
wavy dark-brown hair and big, bright, blue eyes that she
never cared much about. She was always being pushed to do
something or be someone who she wouldn't and couldn't be
everyone was constantly telling her to 'grow-up and make
something of her life.' Now she was fed up with it. 'YAY!'
She thought. 'I am finally done packing!' With that she ran
out the door without any trace that she was ever there at
all.
