The fresh powder of snow muffled the general's steps on the cobbled street over wan castle. He had a stern look on his face the look of determination. He walked up to a door guarded by two officers, they stood up simultaneously and slammed their fists into their chests and opened the door.

Inside the halls were dank and dimly lit, his footsteps resounded off the walls of the stone hallways, he walked to a door that had two beautifully ornate dragons carved into the wood, and inside he heard muffled voices and laughter. He opened the door and walked into a room that was warm and smelled of cooked meat, curtains were hung all around as decorations for the Wu army's headquarters. He pulled back an especially thick silk curtain and saw three generals all dressed in red robes.

"Ahh it is lord Sen-Jian." "Please sit.join us." Said General Zhou Yu.

"I thank you, but I must decline" replied Sen-Jian "I must speak with speak with lord Sun-Quan concerning the political revolts in the southeastern provinces." "I fear that the former governments of Wei and Shu are reuniting under the leadership of Xiahou-Dun and Jiang-We."

Sun-Quan stood and excused himself from the table and lead Sen-Jian back to the hallway. Sen-Jian then followed him down the corridor to a room with two large doors with great dragons carved skillfully into the maple frame. Sun-Quan opened the doors revealing a large room decorated with silk curtains and a massive painting depicting the battle at Yi-Ling province. In the center of the room sat a large round table with several maps spread across it.

"Well, what is?" Sun Quan queried

"Sir the kingdoms of Shu and Wei have reunited, they have already amassed an army of twenty thousand men and they have positioned them here." Sen Jian stated as he pointed to a position about twenty miles from fan castle. "We believe they are preparing to march on the Lei province from which we only have five thousand troops of our own."

"I see," said Sun-Quan with a grave look on his face. "Call my advisors and generals, we leave for Lei province at dawn tomorrow we will stain the snow with our enemy's blood."
