Water, Water, Everywhere:

I thought that a short dip in the pool would be so refreshing. I was clothed so heavily in the day, and the sun is so harsh this time of the year. Top that off with the fact that many of the mansion's air conditioners had been either destroyed or damaged during the attack on the school, and the situation became unbearable.
Of course, I had not thought that she would be there.
There she was, at the other side of the pool, clad only in such...revealing garments, as was I. Thankfully, the water obscured the rest of her body and both of us stayed our respectful distances. Still...I couldn't help but wish she were just a little closer, just close enough to touch, close enough to-no! I had to resist temptation, no matter how intriguing she was.
"Can't you swim?"
"Was?"
She stared at me oddly, cocking her head slightly. "Why are you staying all the way over there, Kurt? Why don't you swim around; it's a big pool."
"Oh." I sank deeper until my eyes were just above the water. Gott, I hoped she couldn't see the burning in my cheeks. "I can swim. I'm...just more comfortable here, Fraulein Storm, that is all." I gave her a chuckle, ashamed to hear how nervous it sounded.
"I see," replied she. She didn't believe me; I can see it in those alluring azure eyes. Now that I thought about it, I imagined that I could see just the faintest hint of gray in those eyes, just like a cloud before it gives God's gift of rain to the Earth. I had never noticed just how curvaceous her body is, shaped like an hourglass, making her all the more easier to hold...must fight temptation!
"Kurt?" she asked, swimming closer and closer. I couldn't help but press myself as far into the wall as I can. "Are you alright?"
"Er, why do you ask, Storm?"
"You're shivering. Can't you see the ripples in the water?"
I looked down and could see just how my shaking body disturbs the water so. "Oh...I am simply a little cold, that is all. Nothing to worry."
She came ever closer. I pulled back but I couldn't go any further! She kept on coming until she was close enough to touch; I had gotten my wish. "Kurt?"
"J-J-Ja?"
"This is the last time I am going to ask you," she said sternly, waving a finger in my face. "Are. You. Alright?"
"Ja, Storm, I am fine."
With one more stroke, she is even closer, only inches from my face and looking me right in the eye. Another stroke...and she stopped, goggle- eyes, eye-brows arched. I stared at her and she stared at me. Slowly, she gazed down and then back at me with an amused look on her face. After one torturous minute she said to me:
"Nice tent."
