Prologue

Usagi had just gotten home from picking Shingo up from daycare when

CRASH!

There goes another lamp smashed against the wall. Her dad had been drinking again and it didn't look

like he was in a good mood today.

Ever since Usagi's mom had passed away she had to take care of her little brother by herself because her father had started drinking and couldn't seem to stop. Usagi was 16 and Shingo was 3. She had to get a job after school just to take care of her little brother and herself. she never had time for her friends anymore. she was always either working or making sure Shingo was ok. It didn't help much that her dad rarely went to work and could just barely pay the bills. Usagi would always try to keep Shingo out for as long as possible without her dad getting mad and end up with another beating. Usagi was always getting hit or beat for something. She tried to make sure that Shingo never had to go through the same thing.

She had to do everything by herself...
