Hello everyone. I just wanted to thank Rheia and yadrianne for being my first reviewers.
Chapter 1
It was Saturday. Usagi was in the kitchen cleaning the dishes while Shingo was sitting at the kitchen table playing with pots and wooden spoons. Usagi's father was actually at work for once. He was nice and sensible when he was sober: it was the only time he actually did something useful, like work. So naturally he didn't go to work often.
Usagi didn't mind being home alone. She was always glad when her father left. After she finished the dishes she was going to take Shingo to the arcade. She he listened to his baby talk as she finished drying the last pan.
"Ok lil bro we're going to the arcade today cuz your big sis has to work so you can get toys and junk. So, no wandering around got it?"she asked.
"Wa wa blu." was his reply. Sure he was three and he should know how to talk pretty well but he just didn't learn fast enough. Usagi wasn't worried, he knew a couple of words so eventually he'd learn more. She took him upstairs to change and soon they were walking down the street, well Shingo was being carried, Usagi was walking.
She walked through the arcade doors and went up to the counter to sit Shingo on a stool. She motion to her friend and employer Motoki that shed be right there after she set Shingo up with his crackers and toys.
"Ohayo Motoki-chan. Sorry I'm late but I had to finish the dishes." she said to Motoki then turned to her brother," Now oneesan stay here. I'll just be behind the counter."
She went to the back room for a moment to put her apron on then reappeared behind the counter. It was only 10 am so no one was really coming into the arcade. Usagi just sat back staring off into space when she heard the arcade bells jingle. She looked up and was met with a pair of midnight blue eyes...
