She often tells people it was love at first sight, and I don't contradict her when she says that. But that isn't entirely true.

When I first saw her, it was lust at first sight. She was absolutely perfect, like a porcelain doll, complete with pale skin and silky red hair. I felt the same way, I'm sure, that every male at Hogwarts did. It wasn't my heart that was doing the thinking.

It wasn't until after we dated, after she let the walls down, after she let the glamour spells drop, that I knew I loved her. I knew I cared; I had always cared. But it wasn't until one morning, after we had spent the night just talking in her room, that I saw her before she cast her carefully constructed glamour spells... and I knew. I watched the sunlight illuminate her, all of her, and I just knew.

It was the little scar she had on her right eyebrow from falling off of her broomstick first year. It was the freckles that peppered her shoulders from the hours of playing Quidditch in the sun. It was the tiny stretch marks on her breast from her growth spurt over the summer, which I had the good fortune to catch a glimpse of when she changed robes right in front of me, thinking I was asleep. It was the little toe that wasn't as well shaped as her others. It was all of the things no one else ever got to see because she hid it so well. It was... her.

To me, she wasn't perfect any more. She was something much better.

She was Willow.

"I love her despite flaws (she's not divine) mostly since she loves me in spite of mine." – Adrienne White

First person POV; it can be Harry's, Ron's, Draco's, Hermione's... really, whoever you want it to be... No one is perfect, and I wanted to show that it's possible for her to be wanted and loved even if she isn't perfect; not just despite her imperfections, but because of them. So what I'm trying to say is... Please review. Feedback: I live for it, It'd die for it, I'm begging for it!

Pairing #0, I suppose.
