They were sitting on the shabby excuse for a sofa. She leaned back
into his muscular arms with her fingers laced around his. They were
watching an old western flick, A Fistful of Dollars. But neither of them
were paying much attention to it.
He leaned down and gently kissed her. His hand moved up the silkiness of her arms and caressed her neck while the other came to rest on her hip. They broke apart for air.
"For every action, there is a reaction," she giggled.
"I thought this was chemistry, not physics," he replied looking at her with a fake look of stupidity.
"Why don't we find out?"
"I'm game to that, luv."
She turned around and sat facing him, leaning in for the embrace of their lips and bodies. His hands roamed up and down her body. By now her button-up shirt wasn't so buttoned up, and his was somewhere on the ground.
"I love you, Spike."
"You know I love you, Slayer."
He picked her up and laid her down on the silky sheets of his bed. It wasn't long before their clothes lay in random places in the crypt. They moved in rhythmic motions and their breathing become heavy. The entire world seemed to shut out and all that was left was them. Just their bodies, nothing else.
Everything seemed perfect until the door to the crypt flew open.
"Hey Capt- BUFFY?!" cried a surprised Xander.
"Um, uh, hey Xand," Buffy said sheepishly.
"Just fine until I find you, here, with Captain Peroxide," he said.
"Hey whelp, watch your name calling," Spike intervened.
"I would watch yours, Deadboy."
"If I didn't have this bloody chip in my head, I'd punch you right about now."
"Oh, go ahead, do your worst. Hm, that's right, you have a "Bloody Chip" in your head."
Both of you, stop it," Buffy put in, "Xander, why are you here?"
"Getting the Scoobies together, seems to be a new demon gang in town. We thought Spike would know where you were."
"Obviously you found me, common, let's get to Giles' place."
Spike and Buffy pulled on their clothes while Xander waited outside.
"Ok, so not that I care, but why are you here, Buffy," Xander asked inquisitively.
"Stopping by to say hi," she answered.
"Since when did saying hi involve sex?"
"Since we started going out."
"WHAT?!"
"You heard the lady, Whelp. I can't believe you hadn't guessed."
"Buffy, are you feeling ok? Has Will been doing spells again?"
"Xand, this is all by choice. Chill, deal with it."
"He's dead, or maybe you didn't notice."
"I'm not dead, Xander, just somewhere in between."
"Right, whatever."
