Emotions
Inuyasha stared in shock and horror at the scene before him.
"This wasn't how it was supposed to end..." he whispered to himself, realization slowly dawning on him. He had seen death and experience despair first hand, but it was different this time.
Men don't let others see them cry, he had once told Shippou. It was a motto he had tried to uphold. But this time something within him broke. The hot tears quivered in his eyes, building up, until they tumbled down his cheeks unhindered, like a burst levy.
It didn't matter anymore. Nothing mattered anymore. Not when there was this time of injustice in the world.
"It wasn't supposed to end like that!" Inuyasha screamed out and then sobbed openly, into the sleeves of his haori.
"Oh my," Mrs. Higurashi commented, staring at the weeping hanyou.
"It's okay, Inuyasha-oniisan. It gets to me too." A teary-eyed Souta threw his arms around the older boy as Inuyasha wept.
"Mother," Kagome stared at the two boys in front of the television. "Remind me to never let Inuyasha watch 'Old Yeller' again."

Hehehe... an old gag that I decided should be written out. But it's a tribute
to the movie that will cause every guy I know to still get weepy-eyed, no matter the age.
Gimmie a review if you think I should continue to do short gag stories.
