Well, I thought of this one spur of the moment, and as I didn't have to really think about what to write, just copy what was already written, I did it. This is a take off of Edgar Allen Poe's "Annabel Lee" I don't own it or Digimon. This is from the point of view of Daisuke, and like "A Million Words" it has nothing to do with any of my other stories, I just wanted to write it. So anyways, please enjoy! ^_^
Takeru T.
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a lad there lived whom you may know.
By the name of Takeru T.–
And this lad he lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
He was a child and I was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea,
But we loved with a love that was more than love–
I and my Takeru T.
With a love that winged seraphs of Heaven
Coveted he and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud by night
Chilling my Takeru T.
So that his highborn kinsmen came
And bore him away from me,
To shut him up in a sepulcher
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven
Went envying he and me:–
Yes! That was the reason (as all men know,
That the wind came out of the cloud, chilling
and killing my Takeru T.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we–
Of many far wiser than we–
And neither the angels in Heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Takeru T.
For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Takeru T.
And the stars never rise but I see the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Takeru T.
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling, my darling, my life and my pride,
In his sepulcher there by the sea–
In his tomb by the side of the sea.
