A/N:  Here's my third YYH poem.  I had to write this, as both James and Charlie had been over last night, and Charlie drunk on Fae ale is NOT a pretty sight, so I needed something to take my mind of it all… This one actually has a name in it… which means I REALLY have to put a disclaimer in this time, don't I?  Oh well… Yeah, as the summary said, this is Yukina speaking about Hiei.  You will get the sense of it as you read.  Enjoy!

Disclaimer:  I do not own Yu Yu Hakusho.. if I did, I'd be IN the dang bloody marvelous show, and dating Kurama.. yeah... that'd be nice…  But anyways, all I own is this poem, so read on!

You Didn't Have To

You didn't have to hide it

From me knowing

All these years

You didn't have to

Take it on yourself

To stave my tears

You didn't have to watch me

From afar

So all alone

You didn't have to lie

About the

Hiruseki stone

You didn't have to always keep

An eye on my

Well-being

You didn't have to veil

The fact that you

Were always seeing

You didn't have to protect me

From dangers

All around

You didn't have to stand by my side

Without even the

Slightest sound

You didn't have to hide it

Oniisan, that it

Was you

You didn't have to think, Hiei

That I wouldn't

Love you too.

A/N:   There… like it?  I know, I know, it isn't angsty… really… Darn, I wrote a NICE poem.  Kuso, what am I doing?!  Anyways, please review and tell me how I did… or if I should write another, with her having a DIFFERENT reaction to knowing about Hiei.  You know, like Pierce's deathfic idea, perhaps? o.O  Please tell me!  REVIEW!

Ja ne!
