John moved around his quarters getting ready for the big night. D'Argo leaned back against the doorjamb.
"John, what are you going to do if the food is going to make you sick?"
"Oh, I have a game plan for that," John said as he searched about for the bottle of cologne that Aeryn had given him back on earth. Finding it he poured some into his hand then splashed it about his cheeks and neck.
D'Argo sniffed then screwed up his face in distaste. "You're going to stink her out of the room?"
"Noooo.." He let the word stretch out; as he put on his clean t-shirt.
"Then what is with the odor?"
"It turns Aeryn on." John reached for the bottle of wine he had brought back from earth. He had been waiting for the right time.
"John?"
Relaxing as he turned to face his friend, John answered, "Yeah, D?"
"What are you going to do?"
"Skip the meal and go directly to dessert. I better get going before she sends out the posse for me."
John started humming under his breath as he passed D'Argo. As usual the human just left him feeling confused, shaking his head D'Argo walked in the opposed direction.
Standing outside Aeryn's door John peeked in.
"Aeryn, baby?"
The doors slid open for him. The table was set. candles were burning. steam rose from the hot dishes, but there was no Aeryn in sight.
Peering around he took a step inside. "Aeryn, darling.I'm here.Aeryn?"
He stopped short, as Aeryn appeared from the refresher room. His month went dry.as his heart started racing. 'God she was.'
Pausing at the doorway, she leaned against the doorjamb stretching one arm up the side of it. she wore the new black lace nightgown she had bought back from earth. The silky material clung to her curves as it fell to her feet.bending her knee slightly a slit revealed her long slender leg.
A slow smile came onto her face, as she said in a soft deep whiskey voice. "I hope you'll enjoy the meal I cooked for you." .
John could only stare; his eyes taking in all the beauty standing before him as he tried to collect his scattered thoughts.
"Meal.oh, I've been looking. waiting for this.you cooked it.I know it will be.wonderful." He sighed as he reached for Aeryn's hand and led her to the table.
"I have the some wine to drink with the meal.I can't wait to try."
Aeryn lifted the lid off the steaming plate. "It's your favorite Haganority Pastrummy."
He couldn't take his eyes off of her, as she served him. Moving behind him she leaned over his shoulder, breathing in his scent. He felt her breath on his ear as she said. "Dessert.after our meal."
As she moved away she gave a soft moan. ". You smell sooo."
'Oh yeah his game plan is going like he knew it would.'
Without thought he picked up his fork, and started eating.it tasted like ambrosia for the gods.
