Echoes In The Darkness
The raindrops sting me as they fall,
From the dark skies above.
The thunder shakes me as it rolls,
Across the Earth below.
The lighting burns me as it strikes,
The black skies above.
The wind freezes me as it blows,
Through the fog around me.
That rainy day, everything was so dark,
It was so dark that it was cold.
I was alone, and it didn't matter,
The soul within me dies.
The teardrops drown me as it floods,
My world around me.
My world is nothing but emptiness,
A deep empty void.
I can hear the rainfall outside,
It rains as I cry.
I can hear the thunder outside,
It crashes as I scream.
That rainy day, everything was so black,
I could feel the pain.
It hurt like no other,
It was heart wrenching.
This is my world, my own prison,
I can sense the echoes in the darkness.
The pain is like no other,
This is where I will suffer for eternity.
The raindrops sting me as they fall,
From the dark skies above.
The thunder shakes me as it rolls,
Across the Earth below.
The lighting burns me as it strikes,
The black skies above.
The wind freezes me as it blows,
Through the fog around me.
That rainy day, everything was so dark,
It was so dark that it was cold.

The teardrops drown me as it floods,
