Chris
Chapter One "Midnight Meeting"
A/N: Okay, I have a confession to make here: this story, as of now, doesn't have a plot. None at all. I just wanted a Chris centered fic so I'm just going to start to write and hope it turns out good. Want to join me in my quest for a story line? Then come along. And have fun. Oh, but one thing, Chris is a good guy, he never killed Leo.
Chris tiptoed down the hall of the manor; making sure he didn't wake any of the girls up. He had been their whitelighter for a week now and was finally starting to earn their trust. Piper was still unsure of him, but he understood her reluctance and just made an extra effort to always be there when she needed him. Since the battle with the Titans there had been a lull in demon activity and he hadn't had to do much, just check in with the elders occasionally to make sure that there were no new threats and that was about it, being a whitelighter was much more complicated in his time. But he was happy to not have to work too hard, there were other things on his mind, he still had a prophesy to live out, and while he was unsure of it's exact purpose, he had been told that it was of the up most importance and it was to be a secret, a secret kept even from the elders.
Chris walked downstairs and turned on a light in the living room, now confident the Halliwells wouldn't wake up. "Keep the lights off" a voice ordered from the living room. "Sorry" Chris replied, flicking the switch and once again the house was bathed in darkness. "I don't want them to wake up" "Yeah, if they did, we'd both have a lot of explaining to do" Chris said with a laugh, "but I've been thinking about this prophesy thing and I really don't know what I'm supposed to do here" "I know, but you will" the voice reassured him. Chris sighed wistfully, he wished he didn't feel so helpless, how could he live out a life changing prophecy if he couldn't even figure out what it was? "Why can't I know who you are?" Chris asked, staring into the darkness, listening to the voice. "It'll be revealed in time" she assured him. It was a female voice, Chris deducted, and it must come from a whitelighter, but other than that, he was clueless. "I just wanted to check in" the voice said "but if you're okay, then I'm going back" "Okay" Chris agreed and saw the blue orb lights light up the room for a moment before disappearing. He yawned and decided to go back to bed, sighing again and wishing he at least knew the girls name, her voice haunted his dreams, it was beautiful and she was the one who helped him find the Charmed Ones and showed him what to do in defeating the Titans, she'd helped him so much, if only he knew more about her…
A/N: Okay, that was crazy short, but now I have an awesome idea for this story, so I will write more soon. And don't forget to review!
