Boy Blusters
A/N: I don't own any characters except for Stacy, Ryan, and Tanya.
Lucy Camden sat on her bed doing homework. "I HATE high school," she thought out loud. Mary looked up from her own homework. "If you think high school's bad, you should try collage". "Well," Lucy shot back, "at least I don't stay home just because I can't find a job!" Mary couldn't think of another remark, so she shut up.
Downstairs, Annie was having her own problems. "No, Ruthie, you may not go to a boy/girl party!" she yelled. "But Mom!!!" Ruthie protested. "No buts." Annie said. Before she could say another word, Simon walked in. "Mom, can I please go to Stacy's party on Friday if I'm home by 11:00?" he asked quickly. "Sharp." Annie added. "He's 15 and your 10." she said to a wide-eyed Ruthie.
"I really think that we shouldn't be doing this." Matt said. He and Sara were on a plane, headed to Los Vegas. "Don't worry!" said Sara. "We'll just have a small wedding and not let anyone know when we get back." "And our excuse is......." Matt sounded worried. "Don't worry, I've got everything under control."
The next day at school, everyone seemed to be having problems except for perfect little Lucy. Or so she thought. "He's soooooo cute!!!!" Lucy's friend, Tanya exclaimed. "He's also coming this way." Lucy murmured. Ryan walked right up to her. "Hey, Lucy!" he exclaimed. "Want to go to see a movie on Friday?" He sounded really nervous. "Sure!" Lucy said. "I'll see you at 7:00 then?" "Okay!" "Why did you just say yes?" Stacy, the most popular girl in school asked. She had suddenly emerged from her locker which was right next to Lucy's. "Well, because I wanted to." Lucy answered. "Well," Stacy sounded really angry now, "we just broke up on Friday. And if he broke up just for you, he'll be dead before you know it." With that, she stocked away. ------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter 2 A/N: I don't own anyone except for Stacy, Ryan, and Tom.
"You can't do that!" Simon yelled. "You can't just now decide that I can't come to your party!" "Oh, yes, I can." Stacy said calmly. "It's my party and I can do whatever I want to." "I just have one quick question." Simon said. "Why can't I come????" "Because your sister is going on a date with Ryan!!!!!" she yelled so that the entire hallway could hear. "And?" Simon asked. He had a questioning look on his face. "And I just broke up with him last week!!!!!!!" Just then, Lucy walked down the hall, all eyes on her. "Your dead!!!" Stacy sneered as she walked away. "Simon, what just happened?" Lucy asked. She could hear voices whispering. "Stacy said I can't come to her party, that's all." Simon looked uneasy. "Why?" "Uh...... it's nothing." Lucy gave Simon a questioning look. "Are you sure?" she asked. "Positive."
"No Tom, I can't go out this weekend!!" Mary was beginning to get frustrated. "I have 3 exams to study for, and on top of that, I promised Lucy I'd go to the mall with her!!!" "Well, what about Lucy?" Tom asked. "Would she be able to come?" "I don't think she has any plans for the next, like, two weekends." Mary said. "I hope." she said under her breath. "Great! Tell her I'll pick her up at 7:00!" Tom sounded really happy, so Mary was satisfied. Now all she had to do was get Lucy to go! Tom was 17, like Lucy, but had been transferred to high school 3 years ago. He was so smart, that he had actually gotten into collage. He was also smarter than Mary. He had had a crush on Mary and Lucy since he had met her in the halls of their high school. "Well," Mary thought out loud, "I might as well go while the halls are almost empty."
As Mary drove up to the high school, she saw Lucy, Simon, and another girl that she didn't recognize. "No, I'm not canceling my date with Ryan just for you to go to a stupid party!!!" Lucy yelled at Simon. "And Simon can only come to my party if you and Ryan are broken up by tomorrow!" Stacy yelled as she stomped away.
