I met five people a few weeks ago. All boys. Two of them were really sweet, one was silent, one was moody, and the last was . . . well, scary. But that's beside the point.

What I'm trying to say is that, I think I must be going mad. Everyone here is. We KNOW that we met and even befriended those five boys, but our computers show no records of their ever being here. It's like they never existed. They disappeared one day a few days ago. They said they were going to take a drive, since it was such a nice day. But they never came back. I stayed up all night watching the news, wondering if they had gotten into an accident. Max Howard had become one of my good friends. He was so friendly and happy all the time, and I was worried about him.

The next day I was in the office when they discovered it. All the records of the five boys, including Max, were gone! As in they never existed in the first place. I know they existed! Max's favorite ice cream flavor was cherry, Odin's favorite anything was his computer, Triton only ever talked to Rashin, the cute little blonde who had a penchant for pink shirts. And Chang was obsessed with weakness and was convinced that women were inferior to men.

How could we have made them up? The principle says they didn't exist, but how does an entire school agree about so many nuances of people that supposedly are just figments of our imaginations? I guess I don't know who they were or where they are, but I hope they're safe. If they ever existed in the first place, that is. Because sometimes, reality and stories tend to blur.

A/N: Um . . . yeah. Did you like it? I was reading a fic earlier about a girl that asked if she'd ever see the pilots again (The Games We Play by AznSage. BTW, great story!) and my muses attacked. This is my take on how someone would feel after the pilots left. 'Cause you can erase computer data and stuff, but it's PRETTY difficult to erase memories. So anyway, please review and let me know what you think.
