Ron had invited his two friends over for the summer and they were entering their 6th year the next day, (time sure does fly when you're having fun.heh.) Every night George and Fred told them ghost stories just about everything. It was ironic how the two boys contained information such as an abundance of ghost stories, but lacked to remember to wash the dishes. "FRED, GEORGE! What did I tell you about your duties in this household," Mrs. Weasley bellowed, "You are to wash the dishes every Thursday, I counted on you, and you've failed me yet again!" "Sorry, Mum," the boys mumbled as they quickly headed downstairs to face more of the ferocious wrath of their mother. Speak now or forever hold your peace if you have anything else to say."

Everyone nodded in agreement as Ron blew out the candle and headed for his room. "I still think we should try and figure out if any part of that story is true, it's awfully uncanny how the person's last name was Lupin, like our professor. They must be related," she explained to Harry since he was far too tired to realize the connection. He said something that sounded like "Yeah, yeah, mhmm," so Hermione allowed him to go to bed, it really was late. Ginny said good night to her as she too got up. When everyone left, Hermione decided to write a letter to her dear friend, Sirius.

Dear Sirius,

How are you? Harry and I are at Ron's; we'll be going to Hogwarts tomorrow. We were up late tonight, listening to ghost stories and one of them got me thinking. It was about a man named Romulus Lupin (who I'm sure is related with the professor at the school) and he how he was taking over Hogwarts by biting the students. Yet it seemed like he was controlled by a secondary party. There was a poem about what he was supposed to do, but one part made me think twice:

"One by one, purebloods, mudbloods all, Each and every one would fall. All with the exception of one you see, She travels in a group of three."

Maybe Fred and George are just pulling my leg, but there has to be some truths behind this, I know I've had some farfetched ideas before, but if you know anything, owl me.

Hermione G.

Hermione attached the letter to Ron's owl, Pig, and headed for the room she was sharing with Ginny. She's asleep already, lucky, Hermione thought.
