Amy lives in the small town of Perry, Texas, with a sum of people of about three hundred fifty. She can't wait to leave this little boring town for her grandparents house in Ohio. As she packs for the plane trip that she will take from Houston Airport to Cleveland. She wonders what she will say to her Grandpa who is to picking her up at the other end. *I think I might give him a big hug and tell him how my flight went and tell him how much I missed him and maybe cry* As she thinks this her mother walks in with some freshly new clothes for the trip.
Amy: Thanks
Mom: Your welcome, aren't you going to take your blanket?
Amy: Oh yeah
Mom: You know I'm going to miss you a lot. *hug*
Amy: Me too
Mom: *kiss* Well I've got to go make dinner.
Amy: What are we having?
Mom: Spaghetti
Amy: mmm...... *Mom walks out*
Next Day, 5:30 AM ****************
Alarm starts beeping. Sleepily reaches over for her watch and turns it off. Bolts up right in bed, realizing why her alarm is beeping and what day it is. A smile spreads across her face. *I'm getting out of here!* She jumps out of bed and runs for the shower in the hall. Knowing she only has thirty minutes to get ready. Amy and her mother have to drive one hour to get to the airport and has to be there two hours to get through all the scanners. Her flight leaves at nine, with or without her. Ends up she doesn't even eat breakfast because her stomach was to tied up with getting to leave. Her Mom and her leave a little past six. To hyper to sleep, she listens to music on the way to the airport. Finally getting through all the scans. They reach the terminal and sit down.
Mom: I'm going to go get a soda, you want one?
Amy: Your going to give a hyper kid caffeine, sure!
*Mom comes back with Orange soda and Coca, hands Orange to her daughter*
Amy: *taking the soda and taking a sip* I think I'll go use the restroom.
Mom: *laughing* You can't sit still can you?
*Amy comes back and finishes her soda*
Intercom: Now boarding passengers to Cleveland.
*Amy hands her empty soda can to her Mom*
Mom: You make sure you buckle your seat belt *tears streaming down her face*
Amy: I promise, I got to go now, I love you! *hug*
Mom: Love you too honey!
Amy rushed down the terminal. Not knowing that she may never be back.
